What We Do

HPCA’s mission is to provide resources, knowledge and support to help independent communicators in the Regions of Halton and Peel. We do this by:

  • promoting professional contacts between our members and the business community
  • fostering excellence among our members through professional development and continuous learning
  • encouraging the sharing of ideas and resources among our members through regular meetings, workshops, e-mail and networking opportunities.

The HPCA program year begins in September and continues through to June, with events such as panel discussions on relevant industry topics to engaging speakers that entertain as they inform. There are also opportunities to socialize and get to know this incredible group of people. Can’t make it to a meeting? You’ll read all about in the next monthly e-newsletter. We also keep in contact all year long through an online mailing list, where members can post questions, share stories and gripes and compare notes. It’s free insight into freelancing!
